What is the appropriate management of a pancreatitis patient who hasn’t improved in 3 to 5 days? What complications are you looking for?
Contrast-enhanced CT to rule out pancreatic necrosis. Identify abscesses or pseudocyst that could be drained. Determine need for prophylactic antibiotics.
