Charcot-Marie-Tooth – proceed as follows
1. LOOK at the hands for small muscle wasting and clawing2. FEEL for lateral popliteal nerve thickening3. Tell the examiner that you would like to: (i) know whether there is a family history (ii) look for enlarged greater auricular nerves (iii) examine the spine for scoliosis (iv) examine the gait (MOVE)
