Question 9 of 1 0
You manage a network with all Windows 7 clients.
As part of your IPv6 migration strategy, you have implemented ISATAP on your network.
You would like to test the communication of a client computer using ISATAP.
What should you do?
@ Ping the address beginning with FESO:
0 Ping the address beginning with 2001:
0 Ping the address beginning with :: FFFF
0 Ping the address beginning with 2002:
Explanation
The Intra-site Automatic Tunnel Addressing Protocol (ISATAP) is a tunneling method for use within a site to provide 1Pv6
communication over a private 1Pv4 network. 1Pv6 addresses used with ISATAP use a prefix of FES0::/16. The remaining
prefix values are set to 0, the first two quartets of the interface ID are set to 0000:5EFE, and the remaining two quartets
use the 1Pv4 address, written in either dotted-decimal or hexadecimal notation. For example, a host with an 1Pv4 address
of 192.168.12.155 would have the following 1Pv6 address when using ISATAP: FE80::5EFE:COA8:0C9B (also designated
as FE80::5EFE:192.168.12.155).
A 6-to-4 address begins with 2002:. A Teredo address begins with 2001:. An 1Pv4-mapped address begins with
O:O:O:O:O:FFFF or ::FFFF.
